House Rules

Members

1. Members may be requested to show their membership card upon entry to the club.

Dress Code

2. The House Commitee will set a dress code from time to time. Members will be informed of the dress code currently in effect and will be expected to comply. Members are responsible for informing their guests of the appropriate attire.

The Dress Code for the Lubbock Club is as follows:

Main Dining Room:   
Monday-Saturday ~ Business Casual;   No Shorts
Men:   Collared shirt Required, no open toed shoes. 
Sunday: Coat Preferred. 

Casual Dining Room: Business Casual
No Shorts.    Men:   Collared shirts required, No open toed shoes. 

Lounge:
Business Casual

3. The Manager of the Club is directed to deny Club privileges to those members or guests not in appopriate dress.

       Guests

1. Other Guests: May be invited by a member as guests, but a member may not introduce the same guest more than once per calendar month unless that guest is accompanied by the member. This rule is exclusive of former members dropped for nonpayment of accounts unless accompanied by the member. (This shall not be applicable for lunch clubs. ) Tickets signed by someone other than the member or their family is subject to a nonmember usage charge of either$15.00 or $30.00 (depending on time of day) on each occurrence. The member sponsoring the guest is responsible for all debts incurred by the guest.

2. Any breach of conduct by a Club Member or their guest shall be brought to the attention of the House Committee and the penalty to be invoked therefore shall be determined in each individual case on evidence presented, as apporoved by the Board of Directors.

3. Members of other Clubs with whom The Lubbock Club has a reciprocal agreement shall show their own club membership card.

4. All tickets must be signed by the member with your name and membership number to assure proper billing. Tickets are processed and forwarded to you once a month with a statement. Tax and service charge are added to all tickets and dues are billed monthly on your statement. Club bylaws require payment by the 20th day of each month. Dues are billed for the current month only as we do not bill for the month in advance. The wait staff is not equipped to handle payments.

Dining Room Policy

1. Arrangement for the use of the private dining rooms may be made with the Banquet Coordinator. An extra charge may be made for the use of these rooms.

2. Food service hours shall be as follows:

Main Dining Room:

      11:30 am - 1:30 pm ~ Monday- Friday

      6:00 pm - 8:30 pm ~ Tuesday - Thursday

      6:00 pm - 9:30 pm ~ Friday - Saturday

      11:00 am - 1:30 pm ~ Sunday

Casual Dining Room:

      11:30 am - 1:30 pm ~ Monday-Friday

      6:00 pm - 8:30 pm ~ Tuesday - Thursday

      6:00 pm - 9:30 pm ~ Friday - Saturday

      11:00 am - 1:30 pm ~ Sunday

Lounge: 

      4:00 pm - 10:00 pm ~ Wednesday -Thursday 

      4:00 pm - Midnight ~ Friday & Saturday

Hours of Operation

1. Hours or operation for the Club business office shall be from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday through Friday, except legal holidays.

Club and Private Property

1. Any property of the Club broken, damaged, or lost by a member must be promptly paid for by said member. Members shall be held responsible for any such damages incurred by their guests.

2. No member shall use the property of another member left on the Club's premises without his or her permission. All such property left on the Club's premise shall be at the owner's risk.

3. The Club shall not be responsible for articles lost or stolen.

4. Members or guests may check wearing apparel or other articles at any time at a cloakroom, which is regularly attended by a Club employee, but the Club assumes no responsibility or liability for the safety of such articles, whether or not a check is given. A sign shall be prominently displayed at all times at all cloak rooms reading as follows:

"This Club assumes no responsiblity or liability of any kind for the safety of such articles left here whether or not a check is given therefore."

Restrictions

1. Any member resigning from the Club may not rejoin for a period of twelve (12) months. Special requests may be submitted to the Board for review.

2. Smoking is not permitted in The Lubbock Club. No exceptions.

3. No member of the Club shall be permitted to send any employee out of the Club for any purpose.

4. Complaints regarding any employee shall be made to the manager.

5. Tipping will not be permitted since a service charge will be added to your food and beverage check.

6. Any conduct unbecoming a lady or gentleman will be met with prompt and decisive action.

7. No subscription paper shall be circulated nor any article exposed for sale in the Club without the authority of the House Comittee.

8. Members shall not post notices or other writings on the bulletin board except upon authority of the House Commitee.

9. Members shall not take from the Club any articles belonging to the Club. Newspapers, magazines, and books belonging to the Club shall not be marked or otherwise defaced.

10. No dogs or other animals will be allowed in the Club.

11. No members or their guests shall remain in the Club after the Club has been closed.

12. No person under twenty-one (21) years of age shall be permitted in the game rooms, unless accompanied by their parents.

13. The privileges of any person, which is dependent upon the membership of another person, shall automatically cease if the member becomes delinquent.

14. The manager is directed to deny the service of alcoholic beverages to any patron of The Lubbock Club, member, guest, or member's family, if in management's opinion, such person or persons is intoxicated or would become intoxicated after the ingestion of an additional alcoholic beverage. The manager is directed to take all reasonable steps to obtain transportation for any patron, member, guest, or member's family, if in management's opinion such person or persons is intoxicated or is likely to become intoxicated due to the immediate past drinking activity of said person or persons. The cost of this transportation shall be assessed against the party, member, or members that are deemed responsible for the person or persons for whom the transportation is provided.

Amendments

1. The House Rules may be changed, altered at any regular meeting or special meeting of the House Committee and subsequently approved by the Board of Directors.
